We went camping at the end of May for Grant's Mom's birthday. Based on the pictures, you would think we had a grand old time. That's only half true. Day time was great; it was overnight that was torture. If it were just Grant and I it wouldn't have been so bad. Cold, but okay. The kids, however, did not like the cold night at all and both ended up in bed with us by around 2:30 am......on an only partially inflated mattress. Our air pump ran out of steam before we finished the job. And, we had a propane heater, but it ran out of propane about halfway through the night. Are you noticing a pattern here? Needless to say we did not get much sleep that night. I told Grant, never again are we going camping in May with children.
