Improvising

Poor Lydia. She's stuck with all of these boring infant toys that she has outgrown and needs some new entertainment. It's a good thing her birthday is on Saturday---maybe by then her parents will get in gear and buy her some new toys that are cooler and more challenging. Until then, Lydia, you'll have to be patient. Luckily you have a Dad that is very imaginative and creates toys out of what the average person would see as junk, some might even call it garbage. But not our Grant. He came home from work recently with the "perfect" toy for Lydia---a computer keyboard. He said it was sitting in the trash at work and he couldn't pass up such a great gadget for Lydia.
He also likes to make hats for our little girl and surprisingly, she likes it! She'll even keep them on for a while, which is a lot more than she does for her real hats (thank goodness for chin straps to keep those suckers on!). Here are some of the "crowns" Daddy made for his Princess:

What a beautiful Princess she makes! She'll be the Bell of the Ball with that head gear.
