Just playing catch up really quick. The summer has flown by!
At the end of July we went to Colorado for my family's Brady reunion. We had one day with just our family, then two days with all the extended family.
For our family time we decided to go fishing at a small pond in the mountains that we used to go to when we were younger. The kids all had a fun time fishing, and most of them were able to catch something, although a few fish did get away.
The second day was full of extended family activities and remembering Grandma and Grandad Brady's lives. Grant is in the middle sporting a Camaro car they had to race around blind-folded. My neice Alyssa was his guide.
The third day we all spent in town at Manassa for the annual Pioneer Day parade and festivities.

Waiting for the parade to start.

After the parade we went over to the Opera house where they always serve a yummy BBQ pork lunch, and then that evening we had a fun time at the Demolition Derby. By the end of the day Lydia was worn out. She had so much fun with all of her cousins, though, and talked about the cabin and "gamma and papa's" house for weeks afterward (she thinks the cabin is my parent's house!).
