Lydia has always loved books and will frequently spend hours each week "reading" and carefully studying each page and picture. Rhett is not far behind. He has discovered his love for books as well. His favorites are books with animals in them.
Reading together = precious.
Rhett's other love is bears. We have had a large teddy bear in his crib since he was born (it was originally Lydia's, but she didn't care for it--she'd chuck it out of her crib every night) and he has gotten quite attached now to any bear he can find. We found this giant treasure (it's almost as tall as me!) at the store one day. He was so fixated on it and kept saying "bear! bear!" the whole time we were in the store, so we just had to buy it. Totally worth the $20. Rhett and Lydia both LOVE it. They snuggle with it, wrestle it, and drag it all over (more like heave it, it's pretty heavy for this little guy). Rhett calls it "big bear" and absolutely adores it.
Oh, my goodness! That last picture with Rhett is worth the $20 bear. How precious. :) Hope you're doing well--we miss you guys!
